Dearest wondrous souls,
Today, we welcome the long-awaited Spring Equinox. Winter has pulled to its end, and the Sun has shifted into Aries beginning the astrological new year.
And yet, the energy of slumber and sleepiness is still very much present.
This is because we are still amidst the eclipse portal. A lot of the energy is still asleep, dreaming in Pisces, as Saturn, Neptune, and the North Node continue their transit through this veiled, illusionary energy.
With this heavy Piscean influence, especially with our point of destiny being here, we may feel a deep need for additional rest at this time. Things might still seem murky and clarity may be lacking (even though a burning desire for forward motion might be stirring deep within!). This is because two personal planets, Mercury and Venus, are still in retrograde.
Mercury retrograde clouds our thoughts, urging us to slow down, reassess, and realign. Venus retrograde asks us to ensure that our actions reflect our highest desires and honor our self-worth.
This combination of Piscean energy and retrogrades is creating a heavy dreamlike state throughout the collective. And so, even though today marks the beginning of spring, it’s okay if you’re not quite ready to take bold steps forward. The ripe time will come, but for many of us, it is not yet here.
That is because the healers, seers, oracles, and medicine men and women are still being attuned to Neptune’s frequency. A lot of us are receiving huge downloads and psychic activations and though we may not fully understand what we are currently experiencing, Spirit is guiding us through this dreamtime initiation. This is why the energy feels so slow and why we may feel as though we are in a waiting period.
Though those of us with heavy fire sign placements may feel tempted to push forward, we are being asked to practice patience and to temper our impulses for now. The clarity and momentum we seek will come, particularly after the solar eclipse in Aries on March 29th, which will be followed shortly by Neptune’s transition into Aries on March 30th.
This shift of Neptune into Aries will symbolize the end of our initiatory time in the dreamlike landscape. We will return to “earth” with newfound clarity, ready to serve in a deeper and more meaningful way.
But for now, Neptune in Pisces is guiding us to tend to ourselves first. After all, what is a medicine man or woman without first filling their own cup?
This is the lesson we are being called to master: tending to our own well, and ensuring our needs are met first for we cannot hope to be of effective service to others IF we have not yet learned how to be of true service to ourselves.
All this Piscean energy is helping us do just that. By revisiting old themes— including past lives for some— we are being called to nourish ourselves and master protecting our energy. As I write this, Stink Bug Spirit has reappeared, reinforcing the importance of energetic protection and well-being at this time. This inner protection and nourishment will become the building blocks upon which we ensure our cup remains full. And if our cup is empty, we will know exactly how to reclaim our power, set boundaries, and say no.
We are mastering the rhythm of our inner ebb and flow—knowing when to stand still like solid ice and when to surge forward like a river set free from winter's chill. We are learning to sustain a state of overflow and replenishment, understanding that by nourishing ourselves, we naturally nourish the world around us.
Pisces is offering us a final moment of deep rest, respite, and rejuvenation.
If you are not feeling an energetic rush to move forward—or even if you are, but lack the necessary clarity, focus, or stamina—have faith. Your time is coming.
When it arrives, you will know because you will feel energized, awake, and fully present.
And so it is...
